Dr. Jim Dyer was born and raised in the west Texas town of Lamesa. After attending The University of Texas at Austin, where he enjoyed participation in the Longhorn Marching Band, he headed to The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. In 1974, he earned his D.D.S. degree, graduating in the top 10% of his class. There his studies continued in the orthodontic post-doctoral program, and he earned his M.S. degree in the Specialty of Orthodontics in 1976. Dr. Dyer
After two years as a U.S.A.F. Consultant in Orthodontics at Wiesbaden, Germany, Dr. Dyer and his wife Shelli moved to Victoria, Texas to begin his private practice. During seven years of successful practice there, he served as secretary, vice president, and president of the local dental society. He was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 1987. He is past president of U.T. Orthodontic Alumni. He is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists.

In 1985 the Dyers moved to the Grapevine area with their three children, Liana, David, and Grace. Dr. Dyer thoroughly enjoys snow skiing, cheering on his college sports teams, and occasionally working at the game of golf. He and Shelli also appreciate leisure time at home, and they are active in many church and community involvements. Although their children are now grown (all three are married), times of family togetherness are still enjoyed with the greatest of pleasure.

Dr. Dyer has more than 30 years experience in the exclusive practice of orthodontics. The insights gained from his experience, along with a commitment toward ongoing participation in professional continuing education, enable Dr. Dyer to provide excellent overall care for his orthodontic patients and their families.

Dr. Paul Robinson was raised in Tampa, Florida and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences from the University of South Florida. He graduated with honors with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 2003. Prior to beginning his orthodontic training, Dr. Robinson completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and a Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Following this specialized training, Dr. Robinson earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Robinson and his wife, Melanie, recently moved to the Grapevine area with their two preschool age children, Emma and Nicholas. On weekends, you may see the Robinson clan strolling through Grapevine Mills or relaxing at a nearby park. The Robinsons enjoy spending their free time together as a family, regardless of the activity.

Dr. Robinson loves to play golf and is an avid Fantasy Football participant. During quieter times, he enjoys watching a good comedy or getting lost in a mystery novel by one of his favorite authors.

Dr. Robinson is a very caring and well-trained orthodontist who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to each and every patient. Dr. Robinson is a board certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He utilizes sound orthodontic techniques in his treatment; however, he remains at the forefront of cutting edge technology and advances in the field. Dr. Robinson feels that he is very blessed to be able to practice such an exciting and rewarding profession and provide such a wonderful service to the members of his community.
